1. Acceptance

By using lyricspin (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is provided by WGC (wegotcode.com).

2. What the Service Does

lyricspin uses your device's microphone to capture a short audio sample, identifies the song playing, and retrieves synchronized lyrics from licensed third-party sources. The Service also provides links to purchase tickets and merchandise related to identified artists.

3. Microphone and Audio

The Service requests microphone access solely to capture audio for song identification. Audio samples are transmitted to our song-recognition provider (AudD) and are not stored by lyricspin. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to record audio in your environment and that doing so complies with applicable laws.

4. Affiliate Disclosure

lyricspin participates in affiliate programs including the Amazon Associates Program and the SeatGeek Affiliate Program. When you click ticket or merchandise links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are clearly presented alongside identified songs.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party APIs including AudD (song recognition), LRCLib (lyrics), Genius (attribution), SeatGeek, and Amazon. Your use of links to those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. lyricspin is not responsible for third-party content or conduct.

6. Intellectual Property

Song titles, artist names, album artwork, and lyrics are the property of their respective rights holders. lyricspin displays lyrics sourced from properly licensed providers and does not claim ownership of any musical or lyrical content. Lyrics are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its APIs
• Use the Service to infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Song recognition accuracy depends on audio quality and third-party provider availability. We do not guarantee that lyrics will always be available, accurate, or synchronized perfectly with every pressing of every record.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WGC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
